About StoRank

StoRank is built and run by one independent developer. He publishes his own apps on both the App Store and Google Play, so he uses StoRank every day too.

1. Why it exists

Everyone who ships an app asks the same question: “Where do I rank for which search, why did I drop, and what should I change?” Most ASO tools are designed and priced for big teams. A solo developer or a small team needs something simpler: correctly measured ranks, what competitors are doing, and a concrete next step.

That is what StoRank is for: type your app’s name, and it finds the keywords and competitors itself, measures your rank every day and tells you what to do.

2. How we work

• Measured, not guessed. Ranks are measured from the stores themselves twice a day. Apple and Google don’t share search counts with anyone, so we don’t show a made-up search volume; we give 0-100 popularity and difficulty scores and say clearly that they are scores.
• Read-only access. If you connect your store account, your key is stored encrypted and used only to read your own reports. Details: How we protect your data.
• A real person replies. We usually answer emails within 24 hours. If something is broken in the dashboard, use Report a Bug in the left menu; the page you were on is added automatically, and we read every report.
• Help center first. Store connections, plans and billing are explained step by step in the Help center.
