Developers: MCP and REST API

There are two ways to reach your own StoRank data: connect it to Claude or ChatGPT and ask in the chat (MCP), or use an API key from your own code (REST API). Both are read-only; nothing is ever changed.

1. Connect to Claude and ChatGPT (MCP)

Once connected, just ask “which keywords did I drop on this week, and why?” or “where is my competitor ahead of me?”; the AI answers from your StoRank data.

Claude

Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
Name: StoRank, URL: the server URL below → Add → Connect.
Sign in on the StoRank screen that opens and press Allow.

ChatGPT

Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings → turn on Developer mode.
Create: name StoRank, URL the server URL below, authentication OAuth.
Sign in on the StoRank screen that opens and press Allow.

You can remove the connection at any time in StoRank → Settings → AI Connections. Changing your password disconnects them automatically.

2. REST API

Create a key in StoRank → Settings → API Keys (shown once). Send it with every request in the Authorization header. Responses are JSON.

Limit: 60 requests per minute per account (429 with Retry-After when exceeded). Only your own apps are visible. Accounts whose trial ended get 403.

3. Endpoints

`GET /v1/apps`	Your apps, tracked countries and headline numbers
`GET /v1/apps/{app_id}/keywords`	Latest keyword rankings in one country vs. the previous measurement (country, only_ranking, limit)
`GET /v1/apps/{app_id}/keywords/{keyword_id}/history`	Daily rank history of one keyword, with competitors (days)
`GET /v1/apps/{app_id}/competitors`	Competitors in one country and how they compare (country)
`GET /v1/apps/{app_id}/reviews`	Recent store reviews with ratings and replies (limit)
`GET /v1/apps/{app_id}/radar`	World radar: countries where the app is live, ratings, chart positions
`GET /v1/apps/{app_id}/suggestions`	Latest AI ASO suggestion report and which ones were applied

4. Errors

`401`	Missing or invalid key
`403`	No active plan (trial ended)
`404`	App or keyword not in this account
`429`	Per-minute limit exceeded
